James Denney is Managing Director and founding partner of the ODYSSEY group. Bringing with him over 15 years of hands on management expertise James has a diverse range of leadership experience having run multi million dollar retail businesses in addition to more recently establishing and operating successful, service driven financial planning firms. James' unsurpassed dedication and commitment to quality continues to be the cornerstone of success both personally and for the businesses which he oversees.
James is Justice of the Peace and qualified Financial Advisor having completed his Diploma of financial services.
Tal Eloss is a founding partner of the ODYSSEY group and has a unique blend of experience, having worked in the medical, legal and finance sectors. Tal specialises in advising high net worth individuals on wealth creation and retirement strategies. In addition he plays an active role in the development of educational content for tailored National Seminar Programs.
He has a B. Med Sci and LLB, both obtained from the University of Technology Sydney, a Diploma Financial Services (Mortgage Brokering) and he has completed his Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning).
Anthony Rosenberg is a founding partner of ODYSSEY group and has over eight years experience in the finance and real estate sectors. An in-depth knowledge of the Australian property sector, coupled with a unique self-developed expertise in investment due-diligence processes, has made Anthony one of the foremost experts on Australian property. He conducts national educational seminar programs.
Anthony has a B. Business from Edith Cowan University of Western Australia and a Diploma Business (Real Estate). He has also completed his Advance Diploma in Financial Services.
Alexander Quarles (B. Bus CPA) is a director of ODYSSEY Accounting Services, backed by more than 25 years experience in the industry. His career began with his father’s successful accountancy firm, establishing Alexander’s reputation for exemplary customer service and tailored, personal solutions.
He has since run several businesses of his own, and brings a wealth of expertise, knowledge and wide-ranging experience to the ODYSSEY team.
Peter heads up our Risk Division which is the area of our practice dedicated to ensuring our financial strategies are supported by the implementation of sound wealth protection plans so that our clients are protected, should any unexpected event arise.
Peter’s experience, skill and knowledge are unrivaled in the industry and span a period of 28 years. During this time, Peter has served on insurer compliance committees, consulted on life insurance product design, mentored younger Risk Advisers and consulted as an expert witness in cases of Insurance Law. Peter is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). The CFP designation is an internationally recognised symbol awarded to professionals who have achieved the highest tertiary education requirements and fulfilled extensive criteria in experience and professional standards in Financial Services.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, which includes six daughters, relaxing on his macadamia farm in the Northern Rivers hinterland, spending time at the beach and cooking.
Alexandria started her career at SCG, an industry leader in risk management, and now part of the Odyssey group. Over the past 9 years she has developed into an industry expert in both corporate and individual risk management advice.
Medical and Legal Professionals now form the majority of Alex’s risk client base as she dedicates herself to tailoring personal risk management strategies for some of Sydney’s most esteemed professionals.
On the corporate side, Alex provides advice on the implementation of group risk cover for companies of all sizes, ranging from boutique businesses to larger publicly listed companies, merchant banks and legal firms. Alex also possesses an intricate knowledge of key person insurance and its implementation for both small business and Private Equity houses.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time on Sydney's beautiful beaches and entertaining family and friends with her cooking.
